Is Supernova.org any good?

hey, someone from this forum said that i should try supernova.org for downloads. has anyone tried this before? im kinda weary because it costs, it based outside of the US, and im not sure of its legality. but im most scared they will run away with my money....

any help on this would be greatly appreciated. or a link to media center (perferably 2004) would be appreciated too.
