Considering purchasing an ASRock ION 330 w/ BD for my folks' HTPC. The system contains a dual-core atom processor @ 1.6 Ghz with an nVidia ION.
As I was reading about it, I learned that full screen flash video content and HD flash video content (i.e., Hulu and YouTube) are unplayable because these flash players are CPU intensive.
My parents typically download 720p videos -- that will be find on the ASRock. But they also stream similar resolution video content through websites/players (i.e., RedspotTV, Ohcastra).
With my very limited computer knowledge, I just don't know if that kind of streaming video will work on the ASRock. Does streaming video content tax the PCU as hard as Flash video content?
