Is stereo expansion a worthwhile feature?

Is it a worthwile feature? Or does the SB Live's lack of it not make much of a difference?

Stereo expansion is when you take a normal sound...meant for 2-speakers, into a 3D (4+ speaker) experience...

edit: i mean true stereo expansion, like the Acoustic Edge does through the Qxpander thing...I believe SC has basic stereo expansion...not as good as the AE, and SB Live simply has the rear speakers output the same thing the front speakers do

eLiu,

First of all I would like to say that your Signature freaks me out. What does it mean? What's "Their's"?

Ok, stereo expansion makes music sound more "3d dimensional", as if it is coming from all around you. It helps if you are sitting very close to 2 speakers and would normally be able to tell which speaker is actually making the sound.
