Is Stephen Malkmus of a now demised Pavement being stupid? He called Blur "pop pussies."

Just saying that he called Blur "pop Pussies" makes him sound stupid, yes, but if you read the entire article it gives his reasons for saying that.

I can see how he says that he was ripped off on Blur, but I cannot see how he can say the same about 13.

I haven't heard Malkmus' new album, but I have heard it is excellent. Many British bands have it out for each other. It's nothing new.

popular radio played Shady Lane alot, but that is besides the point.
