Is steam down?

Can't seem to login. Says something about updating and then times out saying there's a problem with my internet connection. Anyone else having this problem?

Try exitting+logging out.

Restart and try again.

Repeat rinse.

If that doesn't work, just wait an hour. Always works for me after that.

Nope this is different. Steam is messed up. Just click on "proceed in offline mode" for now. You won't be able to get any new server lists, but you can still connect and play on servers in your favourites list (or enter new ones manually if you know the addy). I was just playing.

a lot of people were having problems with it. Steam's IRC channel was PACKED earlier. Not sure if its fix. I never left steam so I didn't have to log in, but a lot of people in my clan couldn't get steam to connect.
