Yea getting him for a 5th round pick is awesome. Even if he doesn't work out it's not a huge loss for the Pats. And if BB can turn him around like he did with Dillon and Moss the D-line should be fantastic.

The Pats can cut him before the season starts and owe him nothing. It's his chance to get with the program. With Wilfork in the middle and getting double-teamed, it should allow Haynesworth to do some damage.

The question will be, what kind of shape is he going to be coming into camp? And will he not be a malcontent?

You forgot a few.

Hasselbeck to the Titans
Kolb going to the Cards
Brad Smith to Buffalo
Steve Breaston to the Chiefs
Thigpen to Buffalo
Tavares Jackson to Seattle
Babin to the Eagles
Pozluzney to the Jaguars
Sidney Rice to Seattle
Takeo Spikes to the Chargers

Other notables include:
Derick Mason cut
Frank Gore hold out
Chris Johnson hold out
DeSean Jackson hold out

Most of all those were FA signings, not trades.

here is the link for the trade http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/...t-Haynesworth-from-Washington-Redskins-072811 and as a skins fan all i have to say is - good luck!!!! 😛

They don't need luck, if anyone can get Haynesworth to play its Bellichick. Shanahan handled everything like an idiot. More like, good luck with that senile of an old coach who thinks John Beck is a starting QB in this league.

this.

🙁

Shanahan thinks he can mold ANYONE into a good qb.

all signs pointing to us also getting Orton here in Miami. If that's so, I'll be excited to see some legitimate competition for Henne. Miami's O-line is looking fairly solid, and with a decent QB/Reggie in the backfield, who knows, we might not actually suck for the first time in years.

Bush seems like the perfect fit for Miami. They should be fun to watch...at least for the first couple of weeks when it's decided if they truly are a good team or yet another disappointment going into the season.

🙁

you know, they really are made for each other....

Both have idiots as majority owners
Both sign over-the-hill geezers to outrageous contracts
Both make piss poor personnel decisions

If I didn't know better, I'd say Dan Snyder was Darth Maul to Al Davis' Darth Sidious.
