I usually just play SC2 for the online arcade and custom games. It seems like there's not a lot of people on vanilla SC2 when I join these nowadays.
Are the multiplayer games separate depending upon if you have HotS or vanilla? If so, is the HotS fairly active? Is there any major differences?
To a lesser extent, I just now started SC2 single player. Does HotS have a good single player as well?
I've got $20 to spend on a PC game, and since it'll run on both my laptop and desktop I'm thinking this.
