its a different game, parts are the same but the pc version just sucks.

the xbox version is the best of them all, although the console versions are basically identical. xbox has better graphics etc as usual.

I don't own the PC version persoanly, but I've read again and again the travesty that is the PC version (esp. since the console versions are so good, apparently).

As usual? I'm going to pardon your stupidity because it's the result of ignorance.

That really depends, certain companies promote one console over another. For example, EA games are optimized for PS2 (atleast says my head developer friend at EA).

there are 2 PC games. 1 game is a direct port from the xbox. another is a "kiddie" knockoff version. *this all according to a software etc employee*

I'm pretty sure there is only 1 PC version, and it's the dumbed down kiddie version. I don't think the console version exists on the PC.

Strange move on their part, and confusing many many people (expecially those who played the PC demo, determined it sucked, and didn't want to buy the console version as a result)

Its a sad thing that they do that because the game could look sooo much better if optimized for xbox.

Sorry about getting off topic.....

Should be the same as the XBox version

well having read gamespots reviews of the same game on all the platforms, and having played it on gc and xbox, at least for this title, the xbox version has better graphics etc.

Technologically, it's an impressive game because Treyarch fits a huge amount of stuff, the entirety of Manhattan, in the game with no pressing visual issues. The Xbox version benefits better than the PS2 version. You can speed through the game with no visual problems. It's not perfect, but on the Xbox, the game sports reflective windows up the wazoo, while on the PS2, it's a slightly different story. There are no serious issues with LODS or pop-in (though they exist), but there is a noticeable amount of minor aliasing, shimmering and a lack of sharpness. And there appears to be a kind of haze around Spidey's body on the PS2 version that's weird.

it's the xbox version for me!!
