Hey guys, I was looking around Newegg and I saw a Soyo MB for $82. I really don't know anything about MB's. I was wondering if you guys could give me any advice on what to buy. This Soyo MB doesn't have USB 2.0, is this very important. I am going to have a total of 512MB DDR PC2700, AMD Athlon XP 2000, 300W PS, a 48x12x48 CD-RW, 16x48xDVD-CD, floppy drive, and a 64 DDR Ti- 4200 VGA. I was wondering in this specific Soyo would be enough to handle it. Are Soyo's good and reliable. Do I need USB 2.0. Please answer these questions.

Well, why don't you give us the model number and we can tell you whether that particular board was a good performer. Soyo has a fairly good track record for boards.

That is a pretty good deal for that board. I have a Soyo Dragon + right now and it was almost twice that.
