Who are these "people" to determine which children warrant comfort? And more to the point, why is there opinion of supreme consequence?

Furthermore, if they can choose, all others can including myself. So until the year 3000 literally, everybody will be selective, since nobody can cite which acts of selection are "more wrong". Pandora's box, as it were...
