I am selling a processor on Egay and I have never had an auction climb this quick. There is still about 45 minutes left and its still going up. Anyone know what happens if the auction price goes higher than the buy it now price?

no more ebay linking for me. The last time I did that I got flamed. The auction I linked to was for all the junk in my junk drawer, but people still made me out to be a self promoting troll.

I am only selling a sempron processor, so the price is only ~$50. But if things keep going this way it might end up way higher.

That's not sniping.

The whole reason for sniping to avoid a bidding war and not to attract attention to the item.

The price will only rise seconds before the end of the auction.

I love sniping.

🙁

Auctions usually see the most traffic within the last hour or so... people want thing quickly and usually browse auctions that are ending soonest... up to 6 days is way too long to wait for something these days.... and if they dont find what they want ending soon, they look for BIN auctions...

Good Luck, I hope you make a lot of money.

Why? You interested?

I don't snipe myself, but I had a friend of mine do it for me. I guess professionals use it mostly. I got a set of rims for $200 of eBay. I just about crapped myself when I found out they are worth $2,300.00 new.
