Is smoking with a butane lighter bad?

In all seriousness, a butane lighter can be hazardous to your health- especially if you work in any field where there are sparks flying around, or hi temps. They are prohibited in most welding shops, for example

The torch that he was talking about earlier works pretty good for cigars. It dosen't take as much work to get 'em going.

I've never had a problem getting any cigar started. Big or not, you can work a small flame to light it in only a few seconds more than a bigger flame. It's all good.

Sometimes if I have a few minutes to work and I'm indoors, I'll light a cigar "properly" which you can do without puffing on it, and without the flame ever actually touching the cigar. It rocks.

Blazin with a butane lighter = bad because if we've learned anything from our expierences, butane lighters will burn the bud, if anything use a match. If no match on hand...then use non-butane lighter for blazing of course

Yes, using butane is worse in the same sense that being in a Yugo is worse than being in a Navigator when an H-bomb is dropped on you.
