Is SLI a verb?

I was thinking to myself, two washing machines would clean my laundery twice as fast and I would only have to do it every other week. I'll SLI them I thought.

So question, is SLI a verb (think tivo) yes or no?

I dont think that Nvidia would like that, if SLI became a Genericized Trademark Nvidia would no longer be able to enforce their ownership it. trademarks are not like copyrights and they wouldnt want it to be used as a verb. course only a small minority of people (im the only one I know) are even aware of SLI or talk about it much outside of internet forums so I dont think Nvidia is seriously concerned about it.

who me? naw I just figured this was my one chance to use my knowledge of trademark and trademark use.

Personally, I thought SLI was an abbreviation. In both the Scan-Line Interweave (sp?) 3dfx and the newer Nvidia SLI sense.

I used to use "softmod" as a verb for everyday life for a while.
E.G., my beer will softmod her into a beautiful woman!

It was funny for about a month.

Even though it's not a verb, I would imagine people will start using the term as a verb. It's not like a word was never given a new meaning from incorrect use before...
