is Silicon Power a reputable memory maker, how long have they been around?

They seem to offer lifetime warranty on some of their ram but if they haven't been around for a long time that lifetime warranty isn't worth much if they might not be around for another 10 years.

If you are concerned about quality then why not go with a more mainstream manufacturer? I cannot imagine the difference being that much given the cost of RAM.

It's a company from Taiwan, not China.

I bought some SD cards and USB flash drives from Mwave and I have no problem what so ever with them, seems pretty good quality.

I agree, I got one from them and a corsair voyager(both 8GB) and the voyager has almost triple the transfer speeds.

Taiwan is not, Hong Kong IS a special administrative region of China.
