so I found this posting on craiglist for a master bedroom in a 5000sq ft house:

This is a posting for the master bedroom in a 5000+ Sq. Ft Hillside Estate Mansion to share. The room is very large and is fully furnished. It is large enough that it has an office space, a living area space and a bedroom space. The room has a large double door entry and the there is a large rear window that spans the length of the wall with the forever city lights views of the san fernando valley and calabasas. There is plenty of storage with 3 closets. The room also has recessed lighting.
The room includes full access to the amenities of the house which include a full gourmet cooks kitchen with all high end appliances, sub-zero refrigerator, "top of the world" kitchen at the highest point of the house with large windows all over with unbelievable views.
Game room with "sunken floors" and huge 30 foot vaulted ceilings, billiards, big screen, entertainers bar, exotic animals on display. Multiple terraces throughout the house all with forever views of the city lights and surrounding mountains.

but there are 3 other people in the house... is this a good idea? I would be saving about 300-400 a month after all utilities are included compared to living in a 1 bedroom apt..

what would u do? take a look at the housemates first?

I share a house with 4 other roommates and it's fine. Although I know them all through school and we all have our own rooms.

I'd definitely check out the housemates beforehand though. Dont want to end up with a psycho.

No, i'd just move in without meeting them, or even viewing the place. Just tell them "sold" and start moving my stuff.

The chances of someone walking in on you shaving your bush will increase 100 fold. Can you put a price point on pubic privacy??????????????

You're gonna wake up and find someone standing over you staring and who knows what else.

Let us know what happens, could be another ATOT reality thread...

I'd check out the house and the people who live there before I make a decision.
