selling with a 0 rating is pretty hard.

I don't think I'd ever buy anything from someone without a lot of positive feedback.

You need to buy some stuff off of ebay first to get a feel for how things are done. Also this will get your feedback up a bit. But no, it's very easy now compared to what it used to be. And even then it was easy, the hardest part was linking to your pictures. If you knew how to do that, you had it made.

i have nothing i want to buy and since I am in need of $ plus I have lots of stuff to sell.
some people will buy anything if the price are decent enough, i just hope that they do come my way :)

... in other words, it's now easy to link your pictures. Selling isn't too hard at all.

I'd risk a zero feedback seller if the advertisement was very detailed (shipping price/conditions stated clearly, condition of item very clear).

i will have a hard time buying as well as seller who see 0 rating buyers as worthless or just a waste of their time. sadly ebayer is all about rating, nothing else.

That's when you use escrow.

Selling on eBay is easy, making money on a consistent basis is difficult.

I just started myself, only have a 2 feedback now, but it was no problem selling with a 0.

No, trust me. Sellers would be happy for your $ no matter what your feedback rating is. It's when you go to sell that your rating is important, it's almost useless when you are buying.

people will buy just about anything on ebay, often they will pay more then its worth. that's just my opinion and I could be wrong. you have to sell what they want to buy but it could be anything ranging from used clothes to ancient component :D

It's about presentation. You may lose some $ or customers because you're 0, but in your ad, make a well formatted, clear sounding, aesthetically simple but pleasing display for your goods. When people have a 0 and they don't take the time to make their product look presentable, especially when they have ads like "Toy car good condition ship everywhere $10" and that's all they have, then I tend to stay away from them.

You cna build trust by showing you understand how to present properly and giving off a positive feeling about yourself and your product.
