is sblive 5.1 worth going to audigy?

I want to know what the best soundcard for listening to music and DVD?s. I currently have the sblive 5.1 with livedrive ir. I want to know if I would get better sound from the audigy? Is there a better alternative? I have some decent speakers, and am getting some really nice headphones and want the soundcard to be up to par with the headphones. I want a soundcard with a livedrive or breakaway box. I need a ¼ output jack for the headphones, and really like the remote function of the livedrive IR. If I was to get a new soundcard without a remote, are there decent options out there for remotes (preferably ones without globs of software required)

Thanks

technically speaking... you should be able to tell the difference from an SB live to an SB Audigy... now... the difference can best be heard with top quality sound components (promedia 5.1 for surround, and some really high quality headphones)... if you're using dinky pc speakers... you're not gonna notice much of a difference...
