Is Salary.com accurate?

The pay scale on Salary.com for my area always seems higher then what places are willing to pay. Is salary.com accurate, because it could make negotiating a salary midleading.
 
It's about as accurate as a weatherman.

So...that means that it depends on the location and a once in a millenium alignment of the cosmos to be accurate.
