Hello friends
Today my 4 years old amd 7770 is dead.
So i was thinking to buy a new graphics card.
After searching for whole day i have decided to go for SAPPHIRE Nitro Radeon RX 460 OC 4GB. $140 on newegg as it has some room for overclocking as compare to other models of rx 460 as it supports 6pin Power connector.

My rig:
Amd fx 8320
8gb ram
Corsair 550w psu
Asus m5a97 le r2.0 motherboard

So i just want to ask is rx 460 worth update to my old 7770 and by how much is rx 460 more powerful as compare to 7770.

Notes : i want gaming at 1080p with sync off , medium to high settings. AA off most of the games.
Target at 40+ fps
My max budget is 140$
I dont want to go for gtx 950 as rx 460 has better support for vulkan and dx 12 ( according to me) and it is newer also.
Thank you

Hey there, it's around 75% faster than the original 7770 GHz, 1080p gaming at medium to high settings is realistic.
It's a bit of a shame that you can't stretch to a 470 4GB, because that card is between 3 to 4 times faster than a 7770 GHz and only 60$ more than a 460.
