Is running my P4B 2.53ghz at 1.7 volts dangerous?

Right now I have my P4B 2.53ghz running at 1.6 volts @ 3ghz, would running it at 1.7 volts so I could get it to 3.2ghz be dangerous? When I did run it at 1.7volts it ran at 43ºC idle and 50ºC load, so is heat the only real danger when running a CPU at a higher voltage? Or should I be concerned with life expectency even though the temps at that voltage are still pretty low?
