While announcing his selection of Paul Ryan as his running mate, Mitt Romney introduced the Wisconsin congressman as "the next president."

"Today's a good day for America, and there are better days ahead," Romney said during a rally in Norfolk, Va. on the USS Wisconsin. "Join me in welcoming the president of the United States, Paul Ryan."

That's brilliant. The ultimate Romney move. He's changed his position again and now he decided to drop out.

I can see him now explaining how the controversy over releasing his tax returns had distracted from the election so he going to do whats best for the country and drop out of the race.

Its Romney's SOP. He's figuring out a way to claim he wasn't President when his name is on all the legal documents 3 years after the fact.

Is this gonna be like when Clinton said Al Gore was going to be his Co-President?

Although he did immediately correct himself
The American media is such a joke. omg he accidentally said president instead of vice president! Let's lynch him!
Democrats who focus on this mistake are idiots.
Republicans who validate this by giving excuses other than "who cares?" are even bigger idiots.

ok that's pretty funny. That's like forgetting the word husband and introducing your husband as "this is my.... man... friend"

Kinda like Obama saying "my muslim faith" and having to be corrected by the reporter?

1. No thread-crapping, thread-derailment, off-topic posting, trolling, the intentional posting of logical fallacies or misinformation.

The truth of this incident was widely reported and thoroughly investigated right after it occurred. Obama made NO gaffe, the reporter did. There is no excuse for you not knowing this. Snopes. Romney's gaffe is not "kinda like" Obama's non-gaffe at all. Stop intentionally posting misinformation.

It will be shocker when Techs actually posts a thread of his own on politics where he created thought instead of regurgitation.
