is Redhat 7.0 worth the upgrade from 6.2?

For basic desktop usage (web browsing, chat, mp3s and such) I have not had any problems so far with it. However, if you plan on doing something more critical with it I would reconsider.
 
I wouldn't reconsider, because the person who runs default configuration as a server deserves to be shot 🙂
