Yeah I'd say they're probably more successful than Ray Romano at the moment. Although given the choice, I'd take the success Ray Romano has had over any of those other people. Ray Romano will almost surely outlast those musicians.

Yeah I'd say they're probably more successful than Ray Romano at the moment. Although given the choice, I'd take the success Ray Romano has had over any of those other people. Ray Romano will almost surely outlast those musicians.

ELR is HUGE. it is the next major sitcom in my opinion. taxi => family ties => cosby show/cheers => Sienfeld / Friends => ELR

Even though Ray is not as famous or rich as Britney, let's say, I would say he is nearly as "successful" because he's pretty much at the top of his profession. He started out as a stand-up and he now has one of the most successful and respected sitcoms on TV. He also did the main voice in the extremely successful "Ice Age" and now he is doing some acting in movies as well.

As far as comedians go, you can't get much more "successful" than Ray Romano is right now, unless you get to the Jim Carrey-Adam Sandler-Mike Myers-type level of box office success.
