It's similar to what I hear when I fly past MTV on my TV. Could it be that all of humanity was just working up towards this one, all-important musical single?

Well, if you can't lure people in with quality food, a rapping cat puppet it's a good replacement.

We've gone backwards in music.

We've gone from needing a genius to compose and orchestrate the music along with the world's top and most talented musicians to perform them to pretty much the exact opposite.

I had rallys today just to see the bag. I usually go there and McD's but can't turn down the 99 cent chicken sandwiches

Oooh, I just had some double R-to the C-izzle action going on. The song is of course looping on the computer, and the commercial came on!

haha, do Checkers actually offer a soda in a special rap-cat 40 ounce cup? That has to be one of the weirdest and worst marketing characters I've seen. I don't know how they expect that sh!t to make people want to eat there.

I will say Rallys (I'm in Cali...) is freaking delicious, Rap-Cat or not.

Rap-cat ads run on local TV here (FL) constantly, makes me want to hurl every time I
see it.

Music has been de-regulated and has lost its magic. Once you could record music it was only a matter of time before they started selling it. And when you sell something long enough, cheap knockoffs appear.

No.

Because the exact opposite ceases to be music.

as a character to sell fast food I don't understand Rap Cat, as a silly and stupid rapping cat I would love this if I was a kid. When I was 6 one of my favorite records was the one with the chickens clucking to the music. I'm sure some of you remember this, my mom hated it, I'm sure most adults did but it was my sh!t. Rap Cat is no different.

I watched the music video and was amused, it's corny as hell but I chuckled.

You're right. Mozart had his whole life to get "good". Rap-cat has only had a couple of years to re-invent music and raise the bar on talent and excellence.

An art of sound in time that expresses ideas and emotions in significant forms through the elements of rhythm, melody, harmony, and color.

by defition yeah it's music, good or bad is really all that can be debated here.
