Is putting a search function on your webpage hard?

I want to put a search form on my webpage, nothing fancy or too complex. Just a basic one, is it hard to do?

You'll have to have access to a cgi bin but it shouldnt be to hard. Also this is a cool website for scripts, take a look around and see what you like
