I didn't know this, according to my friend, who came back from Las Vegas, prostitution is legal there.

Is this true?
I used to think that prostitution was illegal in this country.

In the city of Las Vegas itself? No, prostitution is illegal.

HOWEVER, outside of Las Vegas there are number of cities where it IS legal. There are other cities in Nevada where it is legal, but I'm sure the ones around Vegas are the most popular.

There is one county in Nevada that has a small enough population to legalize prostitution in state-licensed brothels. Streetwalking is still illegal.

FYI, Las Vegas is not within that county, but the brothels are a relatively short drive from Vegas.

How this I believe here in Montreal it is legal to work as a prostitute however it is illegal to prop a prostitute. That is the johns can get arrested but the prostitutes can not.
 
Prostitution is illegal in Las Vegas. I'm guessing you'd have to drive a few hundred miles North to some middle-of-nowhere place in the desert to find a legal brothel in a neighboring county.

Why do you care though? Getting a prostitute is pretty low man 😛
 
When i was in Las Vegas there were prostitutes on the streets at night and during the day there are mexicans on the side of the road trying to sell you pornos. I don't see thing like the where i live. it was very interesting to say the least 😀
