Is Propel Zero going to kill me?

I noticed they switched from sugar with a little sucralose to nothing but Sucralose in Propel Zero. I got concerned about it being an artificial sweetener so I looked it up on wiki and found the following:

According to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the amount of sucralose that can be consumed on a daily basis over a person’s lifetime without any adverse effects is 9mg/kg/day.

I then went to check out Pepsi's site and found that there are 46mg per bottle. I drink 3 bottles a day. Am I missing something? I'm drinking 15 times the recommended limit? Or is it 9mg per each kilogram of your weight per day?

It's 9Mg per Kg of your body weight. You're fine. The only way it would be problematic is if you weighed 15Kg.

I was just going to say... it says mg/kg/day

I'm assuming that kg means your body weight.

Ok, that's what I thought. I've just never read a label like that in kilos or lbs.

I'm good for 706mg.

I live in the US, so nothing...

Umm it has nothing to do with where you live. If it had said 9oz/lb/day what would you have thought the /lb meant. Again I'm not making fun of your just curious what you thought it meant.

I would have figured it out a little quicker. Why not just say per instead of /?

And this is why we need to improve our education system...
Can't have good little consumerists not understanding what they want.

Those sweet waters suck. Thin sweetness, and thin flavor. You want good water? Get some extracts from the spice section. I've tried lemon, anis, and peppermint so far, and they've all been great. ~1/4tsp per 500ml gives it a good flavor, with no sugar. It's cheap as shit, and better than most drinks you can buy.

Not always, using artificial sweeteners can mess up how your body perceives a proper intake of sugar.
If one is use to just having artificial sweeteners if they were to start adding in actually sugar they are more likely to consume to much.
