is printer ink dangerous if it spilled in your hands?

I hope not, because I used to write all over my hands with the ink from used catridges. My parents would get pissed, but I haven't had any strange side effects yet.

Ink, or toner?

Neither are dangerous, but you deal with them differently.

Alcohol should dissolve inkjet ink.

Toner should be washed off in cold water, & if you get it on your clothes do NOT wash your clothes in warm water.

Toner is hazardous when inhaled. Inkjet ink is soluble in alcohol, but alcohol or water will not remove it. Dyes are soluble in water, but when you spill it on clothes it doesn't wash off with water, do they?

Ink penetrates your skin and it'll leave the color for a few days.

You can use chlorine bleach to get the color out to some extent, but your trade off is smelling like beach for one whole day.
