Oh, if only it were Fedex! ;)

Idk about "borked" but my guess is shipping on many items will be severely delayed.

I'm not sure the last time I got anything via Amazon that wasn't from one of the Amazon delivery vehicles, but I was just taking an opportunity to poke fun at OP :D
Is this thread from 2016? It's been years since Amazon relied heavily on UPS for package deliveries.

But to answer the OP’s question…no, it won’t Bork Prime Days at all since the UPS contract doesn’t run out until July 32, with Aug. 1 being the day the strike would commence. So, unless July 11-12 comes after Aug. 1st this year, the potential strike will have zero effect on Prime Day.

We haven't had an Amazon ordered delivered by UPS since we got a local Amazon facility in at least a year. 80 - 90% are delivered by Amazon, the rest USPS.

Prime can kiss my ass with their $150 fee. Bezos can fuck right off to space with his profit taking. Perhaps he should hitch a ride in Musk's coupe up there.

Same here! I bought a printer last year, and they shipped it USPS. It was never seen again, and Amazon didn't have anymore,. I had to get a refund, and got my printer at Best Buy.

I have the $7 per month version (still on Medicaid) and I watch a lot of Prime video so for me it's still worth it.

Full-price OTOH I would have to think twice!

Got an offer ... sign up for a 30 day free trial, get a $10 gift card to use on those two days.

I can do that.

Coupled with a couple other offers, the item I'm going for will be less than half price, maybe a third .

90% or more of my Amazon packages are delivered by Amazon, so...no.

$150 a year is absolutely worth it, if only to satisfy my impatience.

It's been years since anything has not been delivered. Last was about 4 years ago, and the neighbor called to say they had it.
(we live in an older neighborhood on a steep mountain side. Each house has a steep driveway, so it's different than in front of the wrong door in some complex. This was an Amazon van delivery, but when they first started delivery here.)

I ordered some laundry detergent on Amazon the other day. It's scent free Tide, and Amazon has best prices.

It was delivered at 4:40 AMthe next morning, by Amazon (as captured on cameras)

Edit: Went back to the item, and it even says Overnight. It's now 1:30 PM here, and if item is ordered by 7:30 PM ish it would be delivered before 8AM
