There is no such thing as positive racism, racism is always negative. Stereotypes like "Asians are good at math", "Whites are well-rounded", and "Blacks have soul" are complete nonsense. Just because you think that its mostly true, its not! Its racist!!! :)

A better way to differentiate people is by their culture. Culture defines people's personalities and skills, not their race. No single race can be categorized by one type of culture.

Those are stereotypes, not racist remarks. Big difference. Not saying they are correct or anything, but that is the general perception, thus they are stereotypes.

PS, Chinese are better trained at the repetitive predictable stuff in math, not better at math in general.
What he said!

Why does everyone confuse RACISM, STEREOTYPES, and DISCRIMINATION?

We Asian people are better at math. It isn't racism, it is the cold hard truth. We Asian also live the longest. Asian-Americans have much higher life expectancy that white or black Americans.

lol, Asian kids are driven to do well in school. By themselves or by their parents, it is just the Asian thing to do. Given same drive, any kid from any race can do it.

Live the longest part has a lot to do with diet. Asian life expectancy had taken a nose dive when they can afford better food. #1 killer is of course fat. Or as the cosmetic industry calls it, lipids.

There used to be an ad on Taiwanese tv years ago, and it was saying every year the people of Taiwan was eating what amounts to four times the cost of the National Highway #1. That is a staggering amount of money.

Well, I don't know about flat out racism, but I am good friends with a guy at work, who very much flies with the same sex, and if you saw the hell we gave each other...We are usually out drinking together, or trying to convince one another to come out drinking though, so, hmm... He is usually with an umm, male friend when I am in a drinking mood, or I am with a female in a drinking mood, and lets just say nothing is off limits. Now we both take everything with great stride and much humor, it is just part of our friendship, and I feel that the whole racism bit should be left to the same type of friendships. If you have a good friend who is great at math and happens to be Asian, well that would be fair game, as long as he takes in good gesture, and feeds it right back at you, though you should both understand that it is all in a fun and friendly matter.
I would post some of the text messages between me and my friend, but that would probably get me banned, rather it was from what I sent him, or he sent me...lol We still have quite the slush fund of bar tabs either way, and all too many fun times drinking.

Nothing is off limits eh??? Well thanks for coming out of the closet on ATOT.

All stereotypes are based off of fact. They are not just made up out of thin air.

And most, if not all, are truly hilarious.

Well don't go subjugating the world based on the preconception that you are divinely granted such a right and people won't call you racist. History sucks.

I'll take a stab.
Because identifying commonalities among individuals of a particular race doesn't automatically favor one race over another.

There's also differences in the skull.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mongoloid#Features

Montagu lists "Larger brain, larger braincase, broader skull, broader face, flat roof of the nose, inner eye fold, more protuberant eyes, lack of brow ridges, greater delicacy of bones, shallow mandibular fossa, small mastoid processes, stocky build, persistence of thymus gland into adult life, persistence of juvenile form of zygomatic muscle, persistence of juvenile form of superior lip muscle, later eruption of full dentition (except second and third molars), less hairy, fewer sweat glands, fewer hairs per square centimeter [and] long torso"[35] "Mongoloid subjects were found to have approximately 20% higher bone density at the angle of mandible than Caucasoid subjects." Moreover, Mongoloid skulls are the most gracile in the human family. It is believed that the Mongoloid skull type is a very recent evolutionary development.[34] "The Mongoloid skull has proceeded further than in any other people."[35] "The Mongoloid skull, whether Chinese or Japanese, has been rather more neotenized than the Caucasoid or European."[35] "The female skull, it will be noted, is more pedomorphic in all human populations than the male skull." [35] "Mongoloid races are explained in terms of being the most extreme paedomorphic humans."[36] "The intuition that advanced human development was paedomorphic rather than recapitulationary and accelerated was disturbing to many Eurocentric nineteenth century anthropologists."[37] "If juvenilization was the characteristic for advanced status, then it was clear that the Mongoloid races were more deeply fetalized in most respects and thus capable of the greatest development."

I've never heard of anyone not getting a job, or being murdered because of "positive racism."
