I was in St Pete Beach Florida last week for vacation and thought the fried chicken at the Publix grocery store was the best fried chicken I've ever ate. Better than KFC, better than Popeyes. My girlfriend agreed that Publix fried chicken was the best she had as well.

This. x a million

I'm going to have to reply yes, yes, and yes. In that order. It is good. It is inexpensive. And generally speaking it is full of gangsters.

I really need to try an American "biscuit" because it looks like a scone, but a scone would not go with chicken. :hmm: I'm intrigued now.

A good biscuit is butter and salt held together with a little flour. :awe:

I didn't like it when I tried it, but its new to Canuckistan so maybe it was just weak sauce that day. Infact I have not gone back in like the 7-8 months since I've tried it. And I love chicken too.

Pretty poor market penetration in Canada when they only have Popeyes in Toronto, and a few places in Montreal and Vancouver.

I like lots of food, but only two am I truly passionate about:
BBQ (I hail from the birthplace of BBQ; so it's in my blood)
Fried Chicken. The west coast is a sad, sad place. :(

Huh, I didn't know you hailed from Texas. All this time I thought you were from the Carolina's.

 I keed, I keed!

no! their chicken taste like water! no taste! no flavor!

their biscuit is ok.... creamy inside rough on outside. taste good actually. their mash patato is unique and different.... it looks like pork ground meat in their mash patato and taste kindda spicy. some people prefer plain ol mash patato like kof and churches chicken but im ok with it... but if choose... plain ol mash patato more.

again their chicken is 1 out of 10. even churches chicken taste better and churches is way cheaper.

popeyes cost about same price as kfc.... probly 1,2 dollar lesser but still about the same amount yet taste like water!

kfc best taste but most expensive. popeyes taste like water yet expensive. churches chicken is best bang for buck. taste ok and very cheap price!
