This co-worker bought a new Grand Prix and most of the guys at work were asking him why he bought a girly car.

I guess it does sorta look like one.

Nah it's okay. It's pretty feminine but nothing too overpowering. Drivable.

Me neither. That's one of the reason's I own an '04 Grand Prix GT, and before that, a '95 Grand Prix SE. Actually, I'm not sure I've ever heard of a GP being "girly".

its actually a pretty good value for the money... and IIRC the new ones have a HUD on the windshield.

The old pos grand am was definately a girly car. The grand prix has too much power for that label.

They've had the HUD for a while - my '99 has one.

I've driven the Grand Prix and this baby can snap your neck. Not for the girly man.

Although the Grand Prix has had impressive power, I have always found the styling a bit effeminate. It seemed they never beefed up the exterior as car changed after the 80's.

Not if he got a supercharger and such on it. I wish I coudl afford that as my next car. But alas, it will probably be somethign about half the price.
