Is Pirates! for the 360 worth the 1.xgb d/l?

I bought this at Blockbuster. They had Buy one used Xbox game get another free so I got this and Hulk: Ultimate Destruction for about $12. Sadly, I have not played either yet.

This was actually the cheapest I had seen it. It usually goes for over $20 at Gamestop.

Something to keep in mind before you spend $15 on Xbox Originals.

I think a better question is whether it's worth $15. You can always delete it and redownload it, so the disk space isn't that big a deal. Personally, I think the game is overrated. People criticize Assassin's Creed for being too repetitive, but Pirates! is just as bad. At least Assassin's Creed had a decent story.

Ok, so is this game worth the $15? How's the multiplayer?

Non-existent. SP only from what I remember.

IMO, you're better off tracking down the PC version - it would certainly look a lot better than an original XBox game on any kind of modern system.

It has multi-player. 4-player pirate ship battles. I have no idea how many people are playing online right now or if it is even worth playing though.

The PSP version was excellent, but I also heard they tweaked it compared to this version (and the PC version). It's not a terrible buy at $15, but there are better things to spend your money on.

I've never played the Xbox 360 version, but the stupid dancing minigame was much better in the PSP version than the PC version. Other than that I didn't notice any differences, but I'm sure there were more.
