Is Phone Navigation supposed to Speak Over Truck Bluetooth?

I pair my Galaxy S4 with the Pioneer FH-X700BT in my truck. Phone shows connected to phone and media audio.
With Waze, audio plays through the phones speaker.
With Maps, no audio whatsoever.
Setting in apps is not muted and phone audio is all the way up.

I want it to play through the Pioneer's speakers in my truck and my Bluetooth helmet when riding my motorcycle.

It should be playing over whatever speaker you have it paired with (assuming BT Media is setup correctly)
