is "Ortizes" the correct pluralization of "Ortiz"?

hmm....writing a paper here and i need to pluralize a family/last name: Ortiz. is the pluralization "Ortizes" correct or is there another way?

and just to make sure: "Smolinsky" becomes "Smolinskies"?

It should be Ortizes unless you're supposed to do Spanish names differently. Smolinky becomes Smolinkys.

i misspelled Smolinsky the first time (its been edited)...does that change anything: Smolinskys or Smolinskies? ( i was thinking Smolinskies like the pluralized form of sky is skies)
