Is Onvia still in business?

I have emailed their support countless times, with no response.

Their 800 number is constantly busy.

I have been on hold with their non-800 number for over 20 minutes.

This is the second time this has happened with my Onvia order.

I just got my Sumsung 950P from them yesterday. :)
I ordered it Thursday. Pretty darn fast considering the holiday weekend and the snow. Have you guys tracked it online?

Yeah, they seem to have acquired a "backorder hell"

If an item you have is out of stock, you'll NEVER hear from them and you'll never receive the item.

This has happened to two orders that I have placed. They don't even ship your order if a new shipment arrives. You have to place a new order.

All seems in order to me, web site, emails, phone calls-

Hope so, I RMAed them a $200 plus order for refund 12/15/00 and it has been being held at UPS in Anaheim for future delivery to Santa Anna as per their instructions since 12/27/00.

Good luck to all on this.

my SX830 is supposed to be back in stock on the 16th, then ship either that day or within a day... hope it gets here :(

then again, i'm dealing with the Canadian wing, and they have alwasy replied to my emails and i have only ever been on hold once :)

I hope they're out of business. Bunch of liars. Everything I order is out of stock. Out of stock my @ss. Liars tell me they can't even get stock of a blank CDR? Or a CPU? I know they say they're out of stock because I used coupons and they don't want to sell.

Called ONVIA last night. Was on hold 45 minutes (speakerphone trick) and then got a very nice lady. She handled my return and credited me while I was still on the line (my credit card web site doesnt show it yet though) and assured me they were in business as usual and I would see it in 3-4 business days.

Of course, take this with a grain of salt, no TRAINED sales rep will say anything bad or anything at all about the company. Hope they stay in business, liked them and had good experiences with them till now and this one hasnt been bad as of yet.
