Is OCZ Gold RAM any good?

There's a good sale up here in the Great White North on OCZ Gold EL PC2-6400 2GB 2X1GB DDR2-800 CL5-5-5-10 240PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory Kit W/ Ramsink

Is that good RAM for a non-overclocked P965/i975 (depending on what's available in a few weeks) E6600 Conroe rig?

I'm hesitant to buy now, but I worry about a hike in (rare) DDR2-800 with the Conroe release.
