Is Obama A Muslim?

  • Yes.

  • No.

  • Of course he is, but you are too stupid to see the FACTS. So, why should I explain it to you?

  • I am a raging moron.

That's not a mirror, it's an empty picture frame you're holding in front of your face.

Well Obama did at a minimum grow up as a Muslim, until his mother left his father. Here he talks about his early experiences.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCAffMSWSzY

One part of the video below was cut short. That is the interview with Stephanopoulos. Stephie has to correct him, when Obama refers to himself as a Muslim. A real journalist, would have asked for a clarification. But that is a subject for another time. The thing is that if I asked an atheist, what religion are you, I doubt that he'd inadvertently say "Evangelical", even if he spent the first 5 years of his life as an Evangelical. So this brings up a question of did he make a mistake, or does he not want to reveal something?

So here is a better clip with more interaction between these two.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKQhkh8xhE0

Another point is that Obama on numerous occasions, maybe more than 100 times, has commented on "Extremists" not being Muslim. Now what is Obama's authority on who is and who is not a Muslim? For example, if someone calls themselves a Jew, there are some sects that may not recognize that particular sect as being Jewish. And they can run down a laundry list of why, just as Obama does in the video below. But you don't have Secular Humanists or Christians going around saying that Joe Schwartz is not really Jewish, because they know better what being Jewish is. They have no authority to do so. So again I ask, what is Obama authority to decide who is or is not a Muslim?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwp8qKvE-0g

Lastly, as to your comment on what people of Islam do, you should realize that many do not follow strict dogma when it comes to diet or customs of attire. Many Jews do not follow the strict restrictions of being kosher. I remember a few years back, Supreme Court Justice Elan Kagan responded to a question on where she was on Christmas Eve. She said, "Probably like most Jews on Christmas Eve, I was having dinner at a Chinese restaurant." The odds of finding a kosher Chinese restaurant are higher than getting hit by lightning. Also I'm sure you remember those pious Islamic terrorist who in 2001 blew up the Twin Towers, Pentagon and crashed the jet in Pennsylvania. What were some of them doing prior to going on Jihad? They visited a strip club and were downing drinks. So much for stereotyping people adhering to religious rules.

So we'll see if you are true to your word about my reasoning being welcomed.

You do seem to love spreading around some rather trite & obvious right wing distortions-

Only the weak minded & gullible fall for that stuff but there does seem to be plenty of such folks in this country, sad to say.

It really doesn't matter if he is or not. As long as large amounts of people can be easily convinced that he is it works to the republican party's favor.

And to make it even sadder, those people are avid/dependable voters.

Precisely. I wouldn't say it's sad, however.

You're an idiot if you don't have even 1 brain cell that can think for itself and just laugh at this story.

Just shows that both parties have people who will use whatever they can to tear people down. Billery doesn't really care either, or at least her people didn't.

This birther thing is a tool, nothing more.

WTF does Hillary have to do with it?

Or are you just using whatever you can to tear people down?

This should have been a public poll. I wonder how many of the Yes votes are "liberal" trolls trying to make it look like the right is crazier than they are?

I imagine relatively few people here think Obama is a Muslim. Depressingly large amounts of Americans, mostly conservatives, do though.

His religion isn't the question.
It's his paternity and place/date of birth. Nobody is sure if his biological father is actually the Kenyan and not some other guy his mother was fucking on the side. This is because he looks nothing like his supposed father, and his mother was a known adulterous whore. She likely just told the Kenyan that Barack was his son because he would take care of all the child's financial needs if he thought it was his.

Her people started this shit. This isn't some right only thing. Both sides have kooks.

And Barney Frank caused the housing bubble.

Snopes? Really? Shee-it, Sherlock. Chances are that they or their fellow travelers fabricated that email to pin it on Hillary supporters who may well have raised the question.

When Obama's official short form birth cert was produced, that was the end of it on the Dem side. That was just the beginning of the conspiracy theory for righties.

But do go on, tell us all about how "they're just as bad".

And now, the Drudge report via the Guardian represented as some sort of credible source.

Hilarious? You certainly are.

And statements from both campaigns. Gotta love it. Even when shown overwhelming evidence you can't admit that Billery was the one who started it.

I know, admitting your own party has racism in it sucks, doesn't it?

I could show you a holy writ signed by god, in your own presence, and you'd still call it false. Why? Because it would take admitting that your side is no better than any other side and that you're hoodwinked along with anybody else.

It's ok dude. Eventually you'll realize that she's an asshole too.

Yeah, except you're equating a few Hillary supporters with literally 40% of self identified Republicans.

A more accurate statement would be that both sides have kooks but one side has way more here.

Just because the Obama campaign accused Hillary's campaign of doing the dirty deed doesn't mean it was them. Sowing hate & discontent among the opposition is a trick as old as politics particularly when it's a backhanded pitch to your own base.

The simple fact that the photo allegedly from a chain email first appeared in the media via Drudge might serve as a tip-off that they're just stirring the shit with a canoe paddle, one that they could easily have fabricated themselves.

They have a list of prior offenses as long as your arm.

But it's what you want to believe, so you do. That's how propaganda works. What seems perfectly logical in your head requires a leap of faith to get there.

This whole "they started it!" routine is childish in the extreme. It's the wife beater's excuse.
