is now a good time to buy draft-n stuff?

my current router is pissing me off to no end. should i go for draft-n or stick with g for now. also, can i have some recommendations for both please. I mainly want something with excellent range and signal strength.

No time is a Good time to buy expensive Hardware that is going to be obsolete in short time by default.

At a certain point in the near future the price of the Draft would go down, but that means that the real 802.11n is coming out and it would be even a bigger mistake to buy it.
