I have a couple of things on eBay now and someone wants me to end one of them and sell it to him outright.

There are no bids yet, so thats an ethical thing to do, no?

It's not against ebay policy if there are no bids on it. You may still have to pay the listing fee though. Check eBay's Safe Harbor first to see if the rules have changed.

Tell him to send you the money before you take it off of ebay. Otherwise he could be trying to get you to dump your auction so he can sell something of his. I had some yahoo do this to me before, asked me to end the auction early and when I did he didnt answer any emails, and I came to find out he was selling something similiar to what I had been selling. So since he didnt bid, I couldnt give him any negative feedback.
