I think excaliber PC does it for about $60 also...

But not a bad deal if you figure your going to get the fastest AMD CPU available (2.2-2.3) ghz

:D

Lol, still, think about it, a processor that does 1.8-9 for less than or equal to what your heatsink/fan cost. What a deal.

Yea says axda right on the home page where it is on sale. I got mine a couple of weeks ago I didn't check the lablel before I installed it. I just put it back in an hour ago. I had to test a different board.

Anyhow I just started to overclock it last night and I got it to 1992Mhz, 12x 166Mhz on an epox rd8a+. It would post at 12.5 but wouldn't load windows. That is at stock voltage. I figured I could get more by bumping the voltage a little. Heck the bios reports this as 2400XP processor. I say that isn't bad for $45. Even if that is all I can get.

I guess I am going to have to pop that HS/F off again and get the numbers and see. Now I have to know if you know what I mean. ;) Where do I get this prime95 that everybody uses to test stability of their overclock.

Thanks Junkyarddawg.

Let me ask a question. What is the difference between prime95 and say folding@ home which is what I run on my machines. Does it give you a report on errors or something like that?

A little disappointed to hear that the "A"'s have returned. I just sort of assumed that there would be nothing but the "B" steppings once the original "A"'s were exhausted. I picked up two different B steppings a month or so ago on two different orders. Guess I will just keep my fingers crossed. Planning to run the new CPU on a Shuttle AN35N Nforce 2 board, hoping to get at least 12x166 with my 2 sticks of PNY PC-2700 running dual channel. Should be getting the CPU tomorrow, so I will find out. The board won't be here until wednesday at the earliest, so I won't know until this weekend how far it can go.

Just got 2 of these 1700+s from Newegg and they're 'A's.

At first I got all excited cause they said AXDA1700DLT3C on both but the steam left when I saw the AIUGA on both.

Just how fast have people pushed these new processors?

I got mine today from newegg and it is a JIUHB0312XPMW. I believe this makes it a "B"! DUTC3, which while not as good as a DLTC 1.5 volt, my other two run at 2.0 and 2.1 respectively, so my hopes are high. Just waiting for that new shuttle AN35N Geforce 2 motherboard to find out.
