Is Netzero a good ISP?

Im thinking about changing ISP's and getting Netzero cuz its a lot cheaper than the MSN i have now. I was wondering if Netzero basic $9.95/month service was really slow and if its worth changing ISPs. I have a 56k modem and it takes me about 30 min to get a 3 min song. Would netzero be much slower than that? What are your experiences with Netzero? thanks very much, john
 
your isp is not the problem with downloads its you modem. 30mins to get song is average on a 56k connection. you may be cheaper switching but i doubt youll be any faster.
 
For backup to my broadband, I use Access-4-Free, it's free for the first 10 hours, and it costs a maximum of $10/mo for unlimited Internet. They use v.92 modems in most areas, and I've had good service from them. They also don't have any stupid ISP software like Juno and Netzero, all you need is what ships with Windows to get connected. No pop-up ads, etc. 😀 I wouldn't sign up for Netzero for free...
