is netflix worth it?

How many movies do you watch a week?

Do you get stuck paying late fees ever?

How much do you pay locally to rent movies?

right now i'm not renting any movies. its just a hassle to go to the blockbuster and rent.
i have the time to usually watch about 1 movie a night during the week. there's a lot of movies out that i haven't seen yet and i'm sure i could probably find many older movies i never saw or might find interesting.

in that case it is definately worth it

For the selection they have you can't go wrong. I got it as a gift for Christmas and I've already got 50 movies in my queue.

Its very worth it. Igore the people saying it sucks that will be flocking to this thread in a few seconds. Those are the people that burn the DVDs the second they arrive in the mail and run them back to the post office that same night, and then complain that their new ones dont come the next day.

I love it...but don't just get a movie and keep it around for a month.

if you can watch 5 movies a month, it's saving you money because hollywood video charges $3+, and blockbuster the same i believe...plus no late fees 😉

their selection is good too, has good amount of foreign films which i like.

Definetely worth it in my household. We can get 4 movies at a time, and it's well worth it. We love it!

I don't think its worht it. with the throttling they sit on movies 2-4 days before they send out new ones. I also do not burn and return. i watch them and send them in.

i've been using blockbuster cause i got the free one month trial a while back.. it's pretty good.. i think it's more expensive than netflix, but it gives you the two in-store coupons per month to use incase you're jones'n for that one new release that you won't get in time for the weekend... also, i've gotten two free used movie coupons for a pre-viewed movie to take home

Why don't you just do the trial membership and see if you like it?

I just re-joined Blockbuster online because they offered me a $1 for 1 month re-join promo.

Netflix is an excellent option if you like to watch more than a couple movies a month.

I have found their service to be very speedy (we usually have the movies in 1-2 days) and never have a late fee. I also find that I watch a much broader range of movies than i ever would if I had to pay $3.99 per rental.

Yes, it's worth it. Start with the trial to give it a shot. Then you can pick how many you'd like to have out at a time. You could probably get by with the 2-out-at-a-time unlimited-per-month., but could up it if you find yourself wanting to watch more.
