Is Nero the undisputed choice for a burning software?

well, recently my laptop has some problem and I am resorted to use WinXP native burning ability (to make a very long story short). Now I don't use much features that are available on Nero, I just burn data and sometimes mp3-into-music CD. Would Nero be a more efficient software than WinXP's?
(Efficient = quicker, less power-grabbing on precious laptop battery life, less burden while I am using other software)
 
Yes, Nero is the undisputed choice for a burning software, no question ask! My lappy does not have cdrw drive so I can't tell you sorry. But on my PC it is very easy to use, not very hard. I don't believe it is memory or resource hog.
