Is Natuzzi leather any good?

Went lookin at Sofas/Loveseats/Chairs/Ottomans with the woman today.... We came across some Natuzzi leather couches which seemed to be fairly decently priced (~ $1000 for the sofa, $500 for the loveseat/otto).

Is this stuff any good?

I've heard of it before but have no idea if its actually good stuff 😀

Also, are those extended warranties any good to buy on something that that? It was $160 for 5 years of protection, stains, rips, etc... All covered (as far as we can tell from the fine print)

EDIT: Fergot to mention, my fiancee ROCKS. She wants the exact couch i've always wanted. Dark Brown leather, little bit of shine, oh so soft 😀 a MAN's couch 😀

$160 for 5 years is awesome, IF everythign is covered and you have no/very small deductible. Read an reread the fine print!!

Chances are you won't need it, but recovering a torn leather cushion b/c some dork buddy sat down with a pen in his pocket and ripped a hole in it can be very expensive!!!!!

OH...never heard of "Natuzzi leather." Leather is leather is leather...i.e EXPENSIVE.

Natuzzi is probably the best brand of leather sold in regular retailors in this country.....you can import or special order nicer stuff but its generally a cut above the regular stuff.....its basically the lowest end italian leather you can buy but much nicer then the garbage for $499 etc.....I own a black loveseat and sofa and its the most comfortable sofa I've ever sat in by far.....worth the money and 1k sounds pretty cheap for it, where I used to work they sold it for $1500 but cost was about 6--....

Yea, we learned our lesson about furniture markup when we bought a futon...

Paid $420 (including shipping, install, & 8" matress). The frame alone was around $300 so we thought we got a good deal...

Till they delivered it. The delivery men didnt realize the frame had the wholesale sticker price on it of $118 :beer:
