I was just thinking, I have not seen that show playing for months if longer. Are they still on these days or doing other stuff? I know it's only Adam and Jamie now but think I've only seen one or two episodes since that change.

It's on Saturday nights now. Just Adam and Jamie, and it's the same show it's always been more or less. I do miss Tory, Grant and Kari. :(

You mean Top Gear on the BBC or the new show on Amazon with Jezza, May and Hamster?

Or TG:USA?

I do think the "new" (old) format for Mythbusters is an improvement. Too much going on before and not enough info on how each experiment comes to be. I like the trial and error portions.

The Amazon one, I want nothing to do with the USA TopGear.

I'll figure it out.

The new show on Amazon with Jezza, May and Hamster?

The only channels worth a damn anymore that don't have that stupid reality TV shit are H2, Smithsonian Channel and AHC (formally The Military Channel).

I still think it's BS that the new "Top Gear" is an Amazon exclusive. Guess it will be a pirate's life for me since we don't get Instant Video in Canada.

New episodes air Sundays at 7pm. Discovery Canada seems to be getting inconsistent over when they air stuff though, and they don't seem to promote it as much anymore.

Adam seems to be working on a lot of outside projects lately. Plus he's been rather candid about him and Jamie not getting along. They recently laid off the Build Team so it's just the two of them now. I expect Mythbusters will last one, maybe two more seasons and then they'll call it quits.

Tested is popular as ever. Mythbusters is doing great. They actually just completely redid the way they did the last season to focus more on their "craft" so to speak and they unfortunately let go of the other cast members.

Adam seems to be enjoying the limelight and is extremely comfortable in being himself. Jamie is just Jamie :)

Did not realize they actually did have issues with each other. Can see it in the show but I thought it was jokingly. I think they may have reached a point where they ran out of real myths to test as well, as I do find the show was starting to go downhill and mostly based on random internet stuff, still good but not as good as before. I forgot about tested though, I did watch a few episodes before, fun stuff. I'll have to check it out further.

But I do miss the rest of the gang too, I wonder what they're up to, I imagine they must have their own thing going on now days.

MB had a great episode tonight. Redid some of the Jaws stuff, and did some neat new shark stuff.

Adam has said in his AMAs that he and Jamie are not friends. They have a working relationship and that's it. It works for the show though since their two personalities contrast each other pretty well.

Grant, Tory, and Carrie were all effects artists in their own right. I'm sure they're back working in the industry.

And yes, Tested is a great show.

I think it definitely helps that they aren't friend outside of the show. It helps foster their competition on the show and they get to check each other as far as proper testing of the myths.

Tory and Kari have a show called Thrill Factor on the Travel Channel. On Wednesday. They review various thrill rides and activities.

I complained to her on Twitter about no shot lasting more than 5 seconds. Hard to appreciate a roller coaster ride when you don't see the whole thing in 1 continous shot. She replied she is just a 'meat puppet' on the show but would pass on my comment. Got quite a few favorites and re-tweets. :)
