Hey guys, i have a XP-M 2400 chip that i have oced to 2.5 right now
12.5x200

i have 512mb kingston hyperx pc3200 2x256mb And an 8RDA+ mobo

whenever i set my multiplier to 13, no matter what the fsb is set it, my comp boots up at default speed, which is 600mhz for mobiles, does this mean that my chip is locked?

Thanx

I don't think any mobiles are locked

You will need to do a mod to one of the bridges to get access to the multiplyers above 12.5x. I don't remeber the bridge you connect. Someone should be able to tell you.

Mobiles are not locked, else you wouldn't be running at a 12.5x multiplier. No motherboard can use a multiplier higher than 12.5x unless modded, or unless it's a DFI or NF7-S.

it goes back to default speed because of probably its not stable at that speed unless its running super cool. try setting up h20 cooling and u should be able to hit 13.

I think avalon got it.

Add the shuttle board to that btw - AN35N ultra goes up to 22 or so as well.
