The only thing i have done is to allow only my mac address to access the router and changed the admin password.

I do not have wep enabled, and i am broadcasting ssid.

am i secure just from the mac address and password change?

thanks

wep encrypts the packets. If you don't have wep, I can take a wireless sniffer and pull packets off the air and put them back together. This means anything not encrypted at a different level (i.e. ssl web sites) I can see. I can watch you ping machines, surf the web, download midget porn from non ssl websites, etc.

Your WAN has nothing to do with Wireless.

However if you meant LAN the answer is May be!!

Security is a relative term and depends on the environment and system component.

The right way to do it is to spend a little time to learn about security and than make your own determination.

Concerning Wireless.

Concerning WAN (I.e Internet Connection)
