is my Visiontek GeForce3 being crippled?

I just got my new Visiontek GeForce3 and fired up WCPUID to make sure everything was up to snuff. Both the fast write and side band addressing options are disabled for the card even though my mobo (ASUS A7M266) supports both. Is this normal for a GeForce3? If not how do I go about enabling these options? Suggestions?

Both offer next to no gain and usually introduce stability problems when enabled. You're fine as you are.

Thx for the tip Lower but both options were and still are enabled on my motherboard. WCPUID even indicates both are enabled. It's the GeForce3 itself that has disabled these options. I assume it's something that was written in the card's BIOS. It's looks like this is standard procedure for the current crop of GeForce3's out right now so I guess I'll just have to live with it :(

Actually, I would prefer to have side-band addressing on, as it does offer a small performance boost, especially if the card has to start using AGP texture memory.
Those options may have been disabled because the GF3 or the card design may have some compatibility issues with some boards. That is not saying its unstable, more along the lines of turning off potential problems.
