I left my computer on for a few hours the other day. No programs running. When I came back the screen was all white. I rebooted the machine and after the memory test I got a flashing white and gray screen with some lines and strange characters. I rebooted into safe mode and I actually reached the desktop, then got the same flashing white and Gray screen after a few seconds. Now every time I reboot the video seems to work fine for 10-30 seconds, then I get the white screen. The computer actually starts just fine, but the video is screwed. This card has been working flawlessly for about 3 months and I haven't made any recent changes to anything. I thought maybe it over heated, but my comp Idles at 39-41 degrees C, internal temp 70-80 degrees F.

I replaced it with my old Geforce and eveything works fine.

Have any of you experienced this before?

Thanks

Thanks for the help.

It turns out the PS was the problem. Unfortunately it some how burned up part of the ATX power connector. 1 new motherboard and PS (enermax 465) and eveything is up and runnig again. I'm just glad it wasn't the geforce.

By the way Newegg ROCKS! I told them there was an error in the original manual for the motherboard (Epox KH8A+) that puts the default jumper position on the Reset Cmos position instead of normal. I told them I thought that lead to the demise of my PS. They said to call them for an RMA for the board. Awesome!
